Last.fm Listening History

Last.fm records everything you listen to – on any player, on any service. Connect it here and your streams count towards your Citaurus ranking and your playlist placements. It works with a free Spotify account too.

New to Last.fm? Three steps, once.
  1. Create a free account at last.fm/join.
  2. Open Settings → Applications and click Connect next to Spotify Scrobbling. From then on Last.fm records your plays automatically, on every device.
  3. Check Settings → Privacy and make sure „Hide recent listening information“ is switched off – otherwise we cannot read your history.

Not on Spotify? Apple Music, YouTube Music and local players need a small scrobbler app instead of step 2 – for example Marvis Pro or Scrobbly on iOS, Pano Scrobbler on Android, or the Web Scrobbler browser extension. Everything after that works exactly the same.

We only need your username – no password, and read-only access.

Why some plays do not raise your playlist counter: {{ scrobble.stats.foreign }} of your tracked plays happened in Spotify Radio, a Mix or someone else's playlist. Those still count as song plays, but they cannot count towards a Citaurus playlist – there is no placement to support there. Only listening to the playlists your songs are actually on moves that counter.

If you have been listening in that time, your scrobbler has most likely stopped without notice – this happens now and then on Last.fm's side. Check under Applications whether Spotify is still connected, and reconnect it if in doubt.

Plays that Last.fm never recorded cannot be recovered afterwards, so it is worth a look before a long listening session.
We synced your account but found no scrobbles yet. If you have listened to music since connecting, check that Spotify Scrobbling is still connected, and that „Hide recent listening information“ is switched off under Privacy.

Only songs that are part of Citaurus playlists can be counted – everything else you listen to is ignored. That is why the two numbers differ, and the gap grows the more you listen outside Citaurus playlists. Nothing is lost: “received” counts every scrobble we ever got from your account and never goes down.

If you accept, your listening and the listening of the other members are counted together for all of your songs – once, not twice.

These accounts belong to you or to your project. Right now Citaurus counts each of them on its own – so the listening you do with one account does nothing for the songs of the other.

A group fixes that. Your listening counts for all of your songs, and it is counted once, not twice.

You are not in a group. If you run more than one Citaurus account, or your band does, a group makes the listening count for all of your songs together.
